Course Overview

Why take this First Aid and Fire Safety Training?

A basic understanding of first aid will help learners know what to do if they are first on the scene of an accident, including how to assess the situation as a potential danger zone and how to assess the condition of a casualty following AVPU (Alert, Voice, Pain and Unresponsive) principles.

Employers are legally required by Fire Safety Regulations (The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005) to provide information, instruction and training to employees about fire precautions in the workplace.

Please note that the first aid training will not make your staff qualified first aiders. In order for someone to become a qualified first aider, further training that includes at least 18 training and assessment contact hours is required. Tests and certificates

Each end of course test consists of 15 multiple choice questions. Learners are required to achieve a 75% pass mark, and, if necessary, may attempt the test three times at no extra cost.

If learners do not achieve the 75% pass mark, further attempts may be given by contacting our support team.

Learners will be able to download a digital certificate on completion of each course. This can be printed, and we suggest you keep it for your records.
